Mark spent the first 27 years of his career representing doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits. He retired from practicing law in 2014 to operate a small franchise business for the next 3 years. Mark eventually realized he missed the unique challenges of working as a trial attorney in medical malpractice cases, but he decided he would not return to working as a defense attorney. He had no desire to work for insurance carriers and public entities, as he had for his entire career. Instead, he was determined to represent plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases to seek greater satisfaction from his practice.
Mark connected with his former opposing counsel, Ken Sigelman, in 2017 and his timing was fortuitous. Mark now receives tremendous gratification in using his extensive experience as a defense attorney to gain each and every advantage on behalf of the firm’s clients.
